Living in Flower Mound Texas – VLOG TOUR of FLOWER MOUND TEXAS | SUBURB of DALLAS
Flower Mound Texas is a great suburb to call home. In this video, I’ll walk you through Flower Mound Texas so you can see it “in person.” Trust me – this is a suburb that is definitely worth considering if you’re looking to move into the Dallas area!
Flower Mound Texas is a great spot, and one of the benefits of this suburb of Texas is that it’s somewhat well-established. The homes here are in nice communities, they’re large and low-priced as far as square footage goes, and you are really close to the lake as well. You’ll find that Flower Mound, while it doesn’t get a lot of press like Frisco or Plano, is one of the most affordable and nicest communities in the Dallas area.
House #1 –
The first house we look at is a four-bedroom, three-bathroom, 2400 square foot home. And guess what? It’s just $395,000. Unbelievable! It’s great, because of a lot of the homes in this particular community are less than 20 years old, and yet they have large trees and plants that make this community absolutely gorgeous on top of the low home prices.
This neighborhood is safe and quiet, and you really get a lot of bang for your buck here. There is actually one other home for sale is this neighborhood at around the same price and size, but knowing the market in the Dallas area, it’s not going to be on the market for long. Like we’ve said in other videos, be sure to get pre-qualified! That’s a key factor in whether you win that battle for the house you want right now.
House #2 –
Another great find! This one is listed at $550,000, and it‘s a four-bedroom, four bathroom, and 3300 square foot property. It’s also one of our traditional 2000s houses, so it’s got some nice brick with it (that was the big style in the early 2000s). There’s lots of room for a family in this house, and you can’t beat that price!
This is also a very quiet neighborhood, and it’s close to just about everything including, again, the lake (and remember – us Texans love the lake life!). Now, if you’re not into the brick, there are also some new construction homes in this area that are going up, and they are in a similar price range to this one. So that’s something to keep in mind if you’re looking for something outside of the traditional brick that we’ve seen a lot of today.
House #3 –
Our last house is a five-bedroom, six bathroom, 4600 square foot home that was just built in 2017 – only four years ago! It’s beautiful inside, and it has lots of upgrades. It’s in a smaller neighborhood, the homes around here are obviously not small! It’s nice and cozy, but the homes are spacious. Another great thing about this home is the location – it’s extremely close to all of the shops and restaurants in town, which are just on the other side of this neighborhood.
And, of course, we can’t forget to mention the lake! Flower Mound borders Grapevine Lake, so living here means enjoying the lake life for sure. There’s so many great lake activities you have easy access to, as well as tons of hiking and biking trails that you can enjoy as well. The community here is fantastic as well. You’re close to a lot, and you have lots of activities to enjoy wherever you look in Flower Mound.
