Have you ever wondered why they call it Grapevine? There is a wine tasting room but that’s not the only reason why they call this Grapevine. There’s actually several different wineries here in the Grapevine area. So, therefore, lots of grapes on the vines.

There’s a lot of wineries here in the Grapevine area, which are probably the most prominent wineries in all of Dallas Fort Worth. Most of the wineries you come across in Texas are more down south and in what they would call wine country in Texas. It’s only 20 minutes to downtown and is a little suburb county or suburb nestled between South Lake and Irving.

And the other good thing is if you’re a traveler, then you are right on top of the airport just two miles from here. So if you’re still traveling, then you’re going to have an extremely short commute to the airport. The other aspect is that the schools here actually feed into either Coppell or South Lake, which are going to be better high schools since Grapevine doesn’t have its own High School.

House #1-

This home is about $334,000. But I just wanted you to kind of get an idea of the neighborhood. We’re not that far from the historic downtown area. You’re starting out at around $334,000 your typical three-bedroom, two-bath home, and right around 16-1700 square feet. These were built in the early 90s and you’re also right down the street from Oak Grove Park which is a pretty big park and lots of hiking and biking and things like that to do around the lake.

House #2-

These new construction homes look a little traditional, older style, not just the new all brick, but actually adding some character here. They’re completing out this project. But these homes are starting at right around $625,000. And they are three-bedroom, three-bath, about 2400 square feet. The price per square foot is right around $262 or so $260, something like that. That’s pretty close to the average of $224 here in Grapevine.

House #3-

Another great house is listed at $665,000. It is a four-bedroom, three-and-a-half bath. And it’s just over 4000 square feet which put the price per square foot around $160 a square foot. This was built in 2015 but you can see how awesome it is. It is a pretty good option right here. I will say the downside though is, riding directly across from this main road right here.

Million-Dollar Property-

We’re down the street from Main Street, the old historic area. On this whole parcel behind me, there are three homes that are currently leased out, there’s a commercial building and another lot available here. But it’s actually listed at a million and a half. And it’s walking distance to the old Historic District, which is really key because you could either keep these homes there for the rental income, or you could tear them down possibly, and start to start a new development if you wanted to.

Overall, there’s some still some good opportunities here in the area. Being that close to town makes it a desirable piece of property. But if you’re looking in the million-dollar range, you can find better options in South Lake or in Coppell, this right here would still be a good investment opportunity if you want to take advantage of the historic area.
