Pros and Cons of Living in Prosper Texas | WATCH FIRST BEFORE MOVING to Prosper Texas

Prosper, Texas is an awesome spot, but a lot of people don’t really know where it’s at and aren’t sure if it’s a good spot for them. Today, I’ll walk you through some of the pros and cons of living in Prosper so you can decide whether or not it’s a good fit for you. One of the main things people complain about here is the distance from Dallas.

If you need to commute to Dallas for work, then Prosper is a bit of a drive – 45 minutes to an hour, depending on traffic. However, for people working remotely, this is a great option, as it offers pretty good home prices and a country feel, without being too far from some of the amenities most people enjoy.

Another thing to keep in mind is that there is a lot of construction going on in Prosper, so while that means a lot of brand new homes going up and plenty of new construction opportunities for people looking to buy in the area, there is a lot of development going on around town.

So if you’re not willing to have some noise and hustle going on in town for a bit, Prosper may not be a good fit. That being said, there are some amazing food spots, parks, and really great schools in Prosper, which are just a few of the reasons it’s in high demand right now.

You’re also really close to Plano and Frisco, so Prosper enjoys a lot of the same amenities as some of these high-ticket areas, which is a huge plus. I talk about a lot more of the pros and cons in this video, so be sure to stick around until the end!
